Dragon’s Den is a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) production of Sony’s original concept which consists of entrepreneurs pitching their ideas in order to secure investment finance from business experts — the “Dragons”. The show is inspiring, very entertaining and considering the economic climate we’re facing, provides a wonderful venue to encourage VC funding and get the moneys flowing again. I felt so bad for her. I don’t think she’s strong enough to be in business though. I think she’s smart enough… just not strong enough.

i think one needs a decent amount of time with enough shows from each country to fully appreciate the nuances between European and North American versions (or indeed other regions). I’m from England, and I do like the Canadian and US versions, but there is a certain ‘hollywood’ aspect of it that feels more superficial than the UK version. I also feel the UK dragons are ‘harsher’ and they mean it which adds a different flavour.

This would work if they have the software is developed to be visual appealing and extreemly user friendly…AND properly pitched with excitement & confidence. Cause growing up all i ever saw was my friends parents pissing away time on aquiring new sched. information on future activities/appointments and writing it down and reschedualing some things around.
This product if done right, WILL work. But imo, they would be better off just doing an app. for the ipad with a wall/fridge mount.

@PhantomAct ewwww no…Canada DD is the best hands down and I’ve seen all of them…Shark’s Tank is pretty good too but i never find it on TV anymore.
