Try changing his sleeping position when he starts snoring.

Pad him with pillows so he can’t roll over. If he does end up on his back, poke him hard with an elbow to roll over.
On a more serious note, if the snoring is very loud and there are pauses between bouts of snoring, he may have sleep apnea, a condition in with he may temporarily stop breathing. If this is the case, he needs to sleep with a machine that will force oxygen into his lungs when he stops breathing in and out – otherwise, the “pause” can take too long before he can inhale air again.
If you suspect sleep apnea, or simply can’t live with his snoring as it is, he should get to a doctor who may refer him to a specialist. If he doesn’t have sleep apnea, a sinus problem may still be interfering with his sleep. Does he still seem tired even after keeping you up all night with his snoring? He probably needs help to get something corrected. Neither of you have to live with this

One of the natural methods of curing snoring problems is with the help of nasal strips or nasal dilators. The aim here as in other snoring remedies is to broaden the air passage from the nasal valve to the throat and the lungs. This task can be effectively done by using a nasal strip.
