How to keep my housemates from being bothered by my snoring?
Question by heidegger_001: How to keep my housemates from being bothered by my snoring?
I have a loud snore partially because I’m overweight. I live in my own room. There are seven rooms for seven people (The title-holder has a special permit). I’m worried that my snoring will bother other people especially the people next to me. The walls between the rooms aren’t thick. Any suggestions?

Have you tried Breathe-Right strips?
If you have medical insurance, have you discussed this with your doctor? You may really have a medical condition known as sleep apnea, which can be controlled by wearing a special mask-like device even as you sleep. If you have sleep apnea and let it go untreated, you are at fantastic risk of rising heart disease and possibly even sudden fatality.

I’m 100% with the last guy. Snoring that’s loud enough to bother people in other rooms could well be a sign of sleep apnea. In other words, you could be snoring because you really stop breathing at night. That’s not excellent. Get it checked out.

. My friend got that breathing machine and by no means snores. It pumps air in his nose.

Most snoring comes from the throat and not from the nasal passages.
You should try a Slumber Guard – because the nasal strips and sprays were just a waste of money for me.
Slumber Guard worked for me.
