Is the birth control pills making my girl act moody?
Question by FrankCastle617: Is the birth control pills making my girl act moody?
My girl’s been talking birth control pills for the last 2 months. I’ve noticed a change in her attitude during the first 2 weeks of taking them. Like at first she’ll be all anti-social, moody and smart mouthed. She’ll talk about my snoring stops her from wanting to spend the night, how I chew my food, bring up stuff that happened months ago, etc. But in the last 2 weeks of taking the pills, she’s always wanting to be around me and saying lovey dovey things. I don’t think she wants to break up or anything like that but I kinda getting the hint that she wants her space. When I try to give it to her, she gets upset. I’m thinking the birth control pills are messing with her hormones. I don’t want this to mess up our relationship so I told her to stop taking them. She says she’s deeply in love with me and I mean the world to her. I’ll just give her space and make her miss my company I guess…lol.
I meant are the birth control pills.
She acts better when she’s PMSing than on the pills but she said she never acted like this before.
Ha! Kipper she has diabetes too and when her blood sugar is low, man she gets cranky.

Yes they are. I have them…. but… I don’t take them for that reason.

Birth control pills can totally make you moody, my boyfriend noticed it with me too. I was a lot more short with him and he’d ask me a lot of the time “Are you low right now” because when my blood sugar is low, I become a real bi..tch, but no it wasn’t, so we figured it was the pills
I took it personally at first when he told me I was acting grumpy all the time, but eventually I started to notice it too.
I would try talking to your girlfriend about it, be really easy about it though haha, because at first I was pretty offendned
haha tha’ts funny she’s diabetic- i know how hard it can be, and though she might not tell you, having you there probably means the world to her. i know my boyfriend is super supportive with me – i’ll stop myself now before i go all cheese ball about my boyfriend haha
make sure she takes care of herself!!

Birth control pills have a lot of side effects, if you feel you should give her space then do so.

well maybe it could be an alergic reaction funny but trueit could be happening where u cant see it inside ur body/hers
or if u had sex already while she taken them they could have not worked and those are simtoms in some girls/women’s pregnetice go to the doctor with her and see which one and write this down

Could be. She should tell her doctor. Could be too strong, wrong pill–anything. Good luck.
