sleep in separate bedrooms, lots of houses are being built with 2 master bedrooms these days. Doesn’t mean you can’t sleep together when you feel like it but it’s nice to have a separate bedroom to go to

poke him, wake him up and make him change position. I often have this problem with my wife and it works on her, simple and easy! Besides, she don’t remember it in the morning so it can be fun as well

There are several appliances that can be used at night – something like a mouth guard that are said to really help. Check your drugstore.

At almost any grocery store or Walmart, you can buy nasal strips which are supposed to help prevent snoring. I have heard they work well, so maybe you can convince your husband to try them.

Well, have you tried the snore strips? This happened to my mom and my stepdad, they couldn’t sleep in the same bed because of his snoring. We saw an ad on T.V. for this thing that looked almost like a mouthguard, I don’t know what it’s called.. Puresleep I think. That works really well and it does work just like a mouthguard. You have to boil it and mold it to your teeth, and keep doing that every now and then to make sure it still fits right. That is the best method that I know of. I think it works because it opens up your throat area at night, so your tongue doesn’t block the air passageway as much. Hope this helped! P.S. I think this question is in the wrong section.

Get him to see his doctor and loose weight, snoring can lead to poor sleep, hypertension, poor job performance and many health issues – and for you too. It needs to be addressed for his health and yours.
I know you are but what am I? on August 21, 2010 at 4:56 am
Separate rooms. I don’t see why husbands and wives need to share a bedroom anyway. It’s for sleeping.
But the last time I said that I got cursed out by the Yahoo community. Sanctity of the marriage and all that jazz. But SEE what happens! I mean, you can be completely compatible with a person in every way except that. One might need light and the other needs dark. One might need sound and the other needs silence. One might snore and the other is disturbed. One might be a wild sleeper and the other one gets beaten with knees and elbows all night. one might go to bed at 8 and the other one is a night owl. And so on…

my husband’s snores are like sleeping next to darth vader snoring right into your ear, if you don’t have a baby to worry about hearing or if he can nudge you awake when the baby crys I highly suggest buying ear plugs that are made to be slept in. I got some reusable blue ones that come in a little case from walgreens and they are a lifesaver they cost around $13 and came with two pairs. The kind made to sleep in are very comfortable, I tried at first using regular ones but they would always come out and were uncomfy for such a long time.

For those of you who have snoring problems, you know what kind of pain it causes your family members when they have to suddenly wake up 3AM in the morning to find out what that loud blasting is all about.
Well, there are many methods currently today to stop snoring including an anti-snoring watch, anti-snoring spray, and even nose surgeries to stop snoring.
For those of you who want more natural method to stop snoring for good, you might want to take a look at

The anti-snoring device works by keeping your lower jaw more or less closed that increase your airflow thus eliminating your snores.
I know some of my friends have tried this with some good results, let me know how it works for you if you try it.
How it works – Snoring research has shown that a jaw supporter, keeping the lower jaw in an upward position increases the three dimensional space in the airway, reduces air velocity and soft tissue vibration. This action can eliminate or substantially reduce snoring.
A jaw supporter is based on the same principle as CPR. The airway must be open to allow air to pass through the throat. A constricted or collapsed airway causes snoring and/or OSA. A jaw supporter can hold the lower jaw in a position so that it does not fall backwards/down during the night and cause the airway to collapse. Maintaining a clear airway improves breathing and reduces snoring.
If you want to try it, you can get it here

During the times, snoring has been a social trouble that has led to bridal friction in the bedroom. Snoring has caused literally millions of couplings to separation throughout the globe, and in excessive cases has even led to kill. At the very least in my matter for example, it has been the cause of a greatly diminished sensual libido.
Face it, after listening to my partner snoring all night, the last thing I feel like is having sex. For starters, I am absolutely exhausted from lack of sleep and find my partner most unattractive after what he has put me through.
One day a mate of mine, with the same inconvenience suggested he should try Snoring Mouth Guard . It worked from day one, and I am so thankful that both of us are now getting a full night sleep. When we wake up in the morning we are like newly weds and our marriage has been rejuvenated. Thank goodness for Snoring Mouth Guard it really is superb.

SNORING nearly ruined my life!!
MY LAST RESORT
” People that have never snored will find it difficult to understand the crushing blow that the ego takes when this event happens”. My story is similar to the millions of snorers out there in the world. “Banished to the spare bedroom I had reached an important crossroad in my marriage & my life”, I leans back thinking of the difficult snoring days and states “At first I went for a surgical solution, however dispite this being very expensive and extremely painful the procedure was not successful and the snoring did not stop. I then found the jaw supporter and have been using it ever since, with complete success, my life is back to normal and I am feeling great”.
