In 2011 the price is down to $137. I might try to hold out till it comes down rather more. I reckon ultimately it will make its appearance in the dollar store. Meanwhile, at least they could offer a money-back guarantee in case it doesn’t work. Them not offering that small concession gives me a bad feeling. If the thing works, what do they have to fear?

This may work for some…but a side effect of mandibular devices are a lot of people are suffering from TMJ Syndrome

I bought one a couple weeks ago and it does work. It takes a bit to get used to and makes your tongue a bit numb in the morning, but my wife doesn’t have to sleep on the couch all the time now.

Well this video was posted in 2006. As of 4 years later this is the first time I’ve ever heard of the device… I guess it wasn’t the smashing success that the story pumped it up to be.

how does this really work? It’s just seems strange to me : | I’ve been using cpap from cpapman.com and it has been very helpful. I must admit it was uncomfortable at first but it has benefited me a lot. This just seems really strange to me.

that sounds like a cool device, I sure hop it isn’t $150 USD that piece of silicone/plastic is cheap to make so therefore should be cheap to buy. I hate it when companies take advantage of its consumers. Ugh.

If this can cure my sleep apnea over the mask and cpap machine i use now, or even if it helps for the nights I need to sleep away from home to avoid taking the cpap machine with me, it would be well worth the $150. People forget this guy spent years developing this, so it isn’t just a $2 piece of plastic, I doubt anyone can have one of these made for $2! even if you had the rights and design, you’d need to invest in a manufacturing process to make it and have it work correctly.

This is a $2 piece of silicone for $150 Canadian, $150 US, and $150 Australian. Does that tell you how flexible the ‘price’ really is? The developer should be tarred and feathered for making such an extreme profit on other people’s ill health. Bad form.

It looks like the user would not be able to breathe through their mouth with this device. Many snorers are mouth breathers. SnoreMeds anti snoring custom mouthpiece may provide better results for many snorers.

has this made it to the US yet?
navegente on October 6, 2011 at 12:11 am
Yes… $ 150 US. That’s the right price. $ 150 dolares. Realmente el sobreprecio es alto.

you can get rid of it 99 % via eugenics. if you really want to get rid of it you find what actually causes it. you should do more to higher selection.
civilloismael on October 6, 2011 at 12:43 am
It only last a few hours then it fell off from your tongue, then you awake beacuse of the apnea, switch on the bed light looking for the device, afew times during sleep. Threw it away, then got myself a cpap, it’s been a year and will never sleep without the cpap.
