I have a roommate I keep waking up, but I by no means snore unless I’m in that dorm room. Is there medication or techniques that can help me reduce or stop snoring?

Losing weight can help but if you arent overweight – dont.

A tennis ball sewn into your sleep shirt can help as it prevents you rolling onto your back which exacerbates snoring.

Also those nose patches like bandaids – they can open up your sinuses to help you breath more clearly.

I’m vacant away for a week with my girlfriend and her family. I know I snore, and I’m looking for a way to reduce it for the week I’m away. It’s embarassing and I don’t want them to reckon I’m annoying because I’ll be sleeping in the same room as them. Any suggestions?

You could try sleeping with a foam wedge, so your head and shoulders are slightly elevated. It really helps my husband’s snoring. You can get these wedges at a medical supply store. They are doubtless also available elsewhere, it’s just that’s where we got ours.
